What a Wild Spirit Brings: Chapter 45

Lyl has learned the value of being honest and open with a trustworthy friend, and how leaving gaps in knowledge can put a huge strain on a relationship where someone thought they knew you, and suddenly feel as if they do not. It is not only unfair to blindside someone in this way, but also, inhibiting, for their trust and confidence in you. Thankfully, Ginf is above hiding how she feels about Lyl's disregard in this matter, and the two can talk it out.

And thus, Lyl discovers the joy of a friend who is like-minded, and who is loyal, even when she doesn't deserve it. Most friends will come and go, when interests change or someone ceases a common activity. Perhaps one will get busy with things while the other doesn't, or someone has a new family member and the other feels alone and unneeded. Whatever the case, the extremely rare person who is there for you even after long absences and large offenses is someone to cherish. Never stop trying to be honest and close with them. You will miss them if you do.
