What a Wild Spirit Brings: Chapter 44

Now that Lyl has finally matured enough to think of others, to follow through, even when it is difficult, and to be a woman of strong courage, she finally can cry. She can finally properly grieve her own losses, instead of giving compassion only for others. Her heart has opened enough to have compassion toward her own self.
And the reward she reaps for her growth and her perseverance is the satisfaction of her deepest desires, a realization of all she truly wanted the whole journey thus far.
Joy is all she knows for now. Joy and contentment; for it was rightfully earned and she left anything that might detract from her pleasure in the same arms that wrought it.
