Lyl is amongst some of the most powerful women alive, yet is still herself. She has the courage to remain true to her nature in a lot of ways. She is not so intimidated by them as to not hug things she would have hugged if the Heldani were not there, is not a coward, instantly giving into their demands and questions. She doesn't think about this, but it is her nature.
